Rose A Day – 30

I smeared this with a butter knife.
It was all I had to get the job done.

I don’t remember what the hell I wrote.
but I’ve still got more to do
Before I’m satisfied with it.

Was last night high enough for you?
Don’t lie to yourself it doesn’t work.

You can’t expect to deliver everyday of your life. Can you tell the future? No, no you can’t because it hasn’t happened yet.Β There are going to be days or strings of days where you need to do something entirely different… Life changes. The river flows through all kinds of bends, ups, and downs. You will find that being open to these changes is the best way to be in your journey. Stay true to you, but be willing accept the dynamic experiences you will encounter along the way. You can’t control the currents πŸ˜‰ only how you approach, and flow in them.

This was an entirely new experience for me. I didn’t have the best tools to get the definition I was looking for. I even tried bending the knife to a more acceptable shape. It only helped a bit. Regardless I am happy with where it is at this point.

I hope you haven’t waned in your efforts to become along your journey towards yourself! Where I am is not where I will be, but it’s not bad at all. I can only speak for myself when I say that I have a long way to go, but slow progress is progress.

Let’s find our calm in the storm…

We are all searching for a destination. And yet we don’t know which direction we’re facing. Are we going up, down, left, right or sideways? Sometimes all you can do is enjoy the scenery.

I can’t believe rose a day was two years ago …. it’s been the hardest two years! I’ve avoided so much in that time.
